terms and agreements
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
1. All Tour participants should be healthy in mind and
body and not have had surgery within the last six months.
2. No vaccinations are required for travel to India.

3. Anyone with a predisposition to impatience, complaining,
or whining should not come on a Tour.
4. Even though Tour participants will often stay in first-class
hotels or five-star hotels, these hotels are not as modern
or luxurious as hotels in the West. Accommodations in small
villages, such as Rishikesh, are not of high quality. In
winter months, Tour participants are advised to bring a
large bed sheet, and a towel. The sanitary facilities on
the Tour are often Indian style squat toilets rather than
Western style.
5. While in India Tour participants must not drink any
tap water. If Tour participants want to purchase drinking
water, it is available everywhere.
6. Tour participants are warned that pickpockets abound
in crowded areas.
7. Tour participants are advised to leave valuable clothing,
precious jewelry, valuable papers, and all unnecessary items
at home and not take them to India.
8. The Tour Organizers are not responsible for any lost,
stolen, or damaged property during the Tour.
9. A natural insect repellent may be necessary to ward
off disease-carrying mosquitoes during summer months. The
Tour Organizers will help in every way but are not responsible
for participants' health problems during or after the Tour.

COST SPECIFICATIONS
TOUR FEE INCLUDES:
1. Accommodation in single or double rooms at hotels mentioned
in the itinerary, or hotels of similar category. In cases
of peak travel seasons or areas, accommodations will be
in hotels of the best category available at the time of
registration.
2. Meals as listed in the itinerary.
3. Transfers and sightseeing by coaches, by taxi, by jeep,
by private car, or by motorized rickshaw.
4. Airfare from the USA to India as stated in itinerary.
5. The services of our representative at all airport transfers.
6. Expert trip leader for entire journey, if mentioned
in itinerary.
7. An English speaking guide on sightseeing Tours, if mentioned
in itinerary.
8. Entrance fees to all monuments and museums visited on
the Tour, if mentioned in itinerary
TOUR FEE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
1. Transportation to the US departure airport.
2. Inoculations or any other medical attention.
3. Travel expenses from home to Airport.
4. Passport and visa handling fees (A visa is required
to visit India).
5. Tips and gratuities to drivers, guides, and bellboys
at hotels.
6. Excess baggage charges.
7. Any beverages, alcohol or items of personal nature,
such as laundry, telephone calls, cover charges, etc.
8. Gratuities and taxes for personal services and purchases.
9. Travel, accident, baggage, health, or life insurance.
10. Any increases in airfares, entrance fees and Government
imposed taxes.
11. Expenses for guides or transportation not included
in the itinerary.
12. Still camera or video camera fees at the various monuments
and museums.
13. Optional private readings with Vedic Astrologers, Copper
plate readers, Nadi readers, Palm readers, or other readers.
14. Optional offerings to gurus, temples, or ceremonies.
15. Anything not specifically mentioned in the itinerary.

CANCELLATIONS
All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing.
Those canceling their booking will forfeit their deposit.
If the Tour is canceled 30 days before departure, cancellation
fee of 75%, There will be no refund if the Tour is canceled
14 days before departure or later. Regarding airline cancellations
for airfare from participant's home.
Tour participants are responsible to get their own refunds
on their tickets from the airline carrier from which their
ticket is issued. Some airline tickets might have penalties
or surcharges for cancellation, or may be completely non-refundable.
The Tour Organizers take no responsibility or liability for
losses due to cancellations. There will be no refund for any
participant who leaves the Tour prior to its conclusion.

BAGGAGE
Domestic Indian airlines have a baggage restriction and allow
40 lbs. for check-in baggage and 6 lbs. for hand baggage.
All check-in baggage must be unlocked. Please note that in
remote areas of the Himalayas luggage may be carried on tarpaulin-covered
roof racks. Weather and loading and unloading can cause more
than usual wear and tear to luggage in India. Accordingly,
all luggage should be capable of withstanding rugged treatment.
The Tour Organizers are not responsible or liable for any
lost or damaged baggage or personal effects.

RESERVATION RESTRICTIONS
Any prospective participant with a disability, pre-existing
medical condition, or medical history requiring special attention
or treatment should advise the Tour Organizers at time of
booking the reservation and are advised to consult with a
medical specialist prior to reserving space on the Tour.

INSURANCE
All participants in the Tour are advised to get travel, medical,
accident, cancellation, and baggage insurance independently.
The Tour Organizers carry no insurance whatsoever for the
Tour participants. Participants are advised to consult the

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS AND VISAS
All participants are required to have a valid passport with
a valid Indian visa. Incomplete documentation or visas will
result in the airline and airport authorities refusing permission
to enter the country. Passport and visa must be obtained in
advance. Each participant is responsible for determining specific
passport and visa requirements in the participant's country
of origin and for obtaining the necessary documents prior

If you plan on returning to India I would suggest
that you get a 5 or 10 year visa, it only cost a little more.

TOUR PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT
CONDITIONS OF BOOKING:
Payment of deposits or full amount for participation
in the Sacred India Tour ("Tour") that person
registering for Tour ("Tour participant") has
selected below constitutes full agreement with the terms
and conditions mentioned below.
WAIVER OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Sacred India Tour, Ayurveda Health Retreat,
Ananda health Company and their representatives ("the
Tour Organizers"), are making all arrangements pertaining
to travel to India from the USA and domestic travel within
India, including hotel reservations, transportation and Tour
operation, subject to the condition that the Tour Organizers
will not be held liable to delay, theft, damage, injury, terrorism,
death, or irregularities, however caused. The Tour Organizers
will take no responsibility or liability for:
1. Any changes or delays in air schedules,
missed airline or other carrier connections, or other services.
2. Injury, loss, or damage to persons or property,
including luggage.
3. Additional expenses resulting from changes
in exchange rates, tariffs, or itinerary.
4. Defect in any vehicle or the act or default
of any company or person engaged in conveying the Tour participants,
or in carrying out the arrangements of the Tour, or otherwise.
5. Additional expenses incurred or due to
sudden sickness, weather conditions, strikes, war, terrorism,
quarantine or other causes or acts of God.
6. Losses due to cancellations.
CHANGES IN ITINERARY:
Even though changes to the printed itinerary
are not anticipated, the Tour Organizers reserve the right
to make any changes that may become necessary in the best
interest of the operation of the Tour, with or without advance
notice.
The Tour Organizers take no responsibility or
liability for any participant who leaves the Tour prior to
its conclusion or for any activity undertaken by any participant,
which is not included on the Tour itinerary.
